About Me
Hi, I'm a designer originally from China, now crafting digital experiences in the United States. What started as building websites for local small businesses turned into a 4-year journey across industries, from construction crews and home services to e-commerce shops, schools, and nonprofits.
I believe good design isn't just about looking pretty. It's about helping real people, especially small business owners, show up online with confidence. There's something that genuinely makes me happy about seeing a local business thrive because their website finally reflects how good they actually are.
My work is guided by one simple value: design should serve people, not impress them.

My Journey
Work Experience
Designed and built websites for small businesses across construction, home services, e-commerce, education, healthcare, legal, and nonprofits. Worked closely with clients from the first sketch all the way to launch day. One site I redesigned went on to rank number one on Google and show up on leading AI search platforms, which honestly made my whole week.
Education
GPA 4.0. Exploring how technology is changing the way we communicate, tell stories, and connect with people. I love thinking about design from a communication lens, not just a visual one.
GPA 3.85. Learned how to think about tech from a business and leadership perspective. Made me a much better collaborator on projects where design meets real operational constraints.
GPA 3.95, Dean's List with Scholarships. This is where I fell in love with design. Spent four years obsessing over typography, visual hierarchy, and how a good layout can make someone feel something.
